These are splash pages or entrance pages to a website. Many people prefer them because they like to change out their first page fairly often and this is a very easy way to do it.

The html, a background graphic [if required] and the folder containing the necessary images are provided in the zip and sit files. All you have to do is change the name of your home page from index to something else. Then switch out the # in the Enter link with your new main page url keeping the quotes, change the name of this html file to index.html [most are already named that] and upload all to the same directory as your homepage on your website.
